Arrival And Bird In Arusha
Meet and greet field crew at the airport and depending with your time of arrival bird the nearby hotspots or the hotel grounds for common species in this magnificent park of africa

South Pare Mountains Via Kisangara Acacia Scrub
We will drive to NE towards the south pare Mountains with picnic lunches taking a stop at the kisangara acacia scrub for Somali-maasai arid specialities such as tsavo, hunter's,eastern violet backed and black bellied sunbirds, Pringle's puffback,simali tit,somali bunting,pink breasted lark,golden breasted starling,eastern chanting goshawk, pale prinia and others such as eastern paradise,steel blue,straw tailed and pin-tailed whydahs. We will drive to SAME Town for hot lunch at johnsons' villas and later at 3pm go up the south pare mountains for the endemic south pare white eye and distinctive paarensi race of bar throated apalis , other birds here includes Usambara double collared and T, East African endemic East Coast flycatcher, African yellow warbler,east african endemic hartlaubs turaco ,kenrick's starling and others. Night at Johnsons' villas

Magamba Forest-West Usambara Mountains
Before breakfast we will drive to Kisiwani road near Mkomazi national park and bird there for tiny cisticola,fischer's , Hildebrandt's and superb starlings,golden pipit, Hildebrandt's spurfowl,eastern black headed batis, pygmy batis, mouse colored penduline tit and others. We will drive back to the hotel for breakfast and head to West Usambaras arriving in time for lunch where we will have our picnic lunches and bird the lower trails for the endemic usambara greenbul, usambara akalat,the rare and elusive spot-throat ,the eatern arch endemic red-capped forest warbler and fulleborns boubou,forest batis, Red faced crimsong wing, White chested alethe, Southern yellow white eye,Grey headed negrofinch, Bar tailed trogon. Later in the evening we will go to our accommodation at Muller's mountain lodge where we will search for african wood owl and usambara nightjar before dinner The next morning we will head up at the Old saw mill trail for endemic usambara thrush,usambara weaver and more views of usambara double collared sunbird. We will also bird for black headed apalis,eastern mountain greenbul, yellow-throated woodland warbler,african black duck,rameron and eatern bronze naped pigeon, Sharpe's starling and others. We will go back for hot lunch and later in the evening bird the lower trails for what we might have missed the previous day or for better views desired for some species such as the spot-throat -Night at Muller's mountain lodge

Amani Nature Reserve-East Usambara Mountains
We will leave Magamba early and have afew bird stops on the way for birds such as coastal cisticola,long crested eagle,eastern golden weaver and afew other species arriving in Amani Zigi lowland forest in time for lunch. After our picnic lunches we will bird the forest for the endemic tanzania illadopsis and usambara hyliota,others which we will be on the look out for are little yellow flycatcher, red-fronted helmet shrike,african boadbill, plain-backed sunbird,lowland tiny greenbul, fischer's greenbul,red-capped robin,green tinkerbird,trumpeter hornbill,mombasa woodpecker,eastern nicator,red-taiked antthrush,east coast batis and alot more .Later at 4pm we will drive up the botanical garden for flowering trees searching for the endemic banded green sunbird,near endemic amani and uluguru violet-backed sunbird,green barbet and silvery cheeked hornbill. We will later check in to our accommodation at Amani rest house and at night search for the endemic Usambara eagle owl. The next morning we will drive to Kwamkoro tea estates and bird the remant forest for rare birds such as the near endemic usambara/long-billed forest warbler, Sharpe's akalat,yellow-streaked greenbul,rare olive ibis,green twinspot,green headed oriole,cabani's bunting,half-collared kingfisher,southern banded snake eagle,kretschmer's longbill,east coast endemic Zanzibar boubou and Fischer's turaco. We will go back for hot lunch and we will decide on where to bird depending on what we will be needing at the time . Night at Amani rest house

Drive to Arusha for drop off with bird stops on the way
We will take our first stop at Zigi lowland forest for what we might have missed and at around 9:30 pm drive up north taking another stop at Chekelei rice fields for various bishops,waxbills and waterbirds . We will stop at Mombo town for hot lunch and then directly drive to arusha/kilimanjaro international airport arriving late in the evening
